This personal climate system evenly distributes air about the torso for up to eight hours on a single battery charge. The inner layer, which is 3-D polyester fabric, provides a gap between the skin and the clothes which helps to circulate air and the two air fan cartridges have their own switch which the user can adjust to control the rate of air flow. The vest weights 2.87 pounds and although the concept is not new, the use of fans represents an up and coming trend in what has come to be called personal climate control.
