Is it raining cameras or what here at Coolest Gadgets? Apparently so, with a slew of Panasonic and Fujifilm digital cameras covered today, but here’s the last one for the 26th – no guarantees that tomorrow will bring more news of digital cameras, although we’re pretty sure that they over-hyped Apple iTablet will most probably command news portals and blogs tomorrow morning. The Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD megazoom camera boasts an 18x optical zoom lens and HD movie recording to get the ball rolling, and is fully compatible with HDTVs when you want to view both still pictures and movies. Capable of shooting video in High Definition (you won’t get full HD though) at 1280×720 pixels/720p, this ought to make a decent stopgap measure if you are in the market for a camcorder at this point in time. More on the Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD after the jump.
It might look rather compact, but don’t let its size fool you as the Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD comes with an impressive 18x optical zoom covering a versatile 28-504 mm (equivalent to a 35mm camera) range from wide-angle to ultra telephoto. Regardless of whether you are going to shoot landscapes, interiors, large group shots, distant sports or wildlife action, the Fujifilm S2500HD is more than ready to handle the aforementioned situations with aplomb. The inclusion of Dual Image Stabilization mode with a mechanically stabilized CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities provides anti-blur protection, so you can suffer from shaky hands without worrying about the picture coming out wrong.
